Septic System Issues

If your home’s septic system is not working properly, you may experience the following issues:

1) Wastewater (i.e., septage, sewage) backing up in basement, tub, and sinks etc.;

2) Wastewater pooling on ground’s surface near the leach field;

3) Unpleasant odor; and/or

4) Toilets not draining properly.

If you experience one or more of the above issues, contact our team immediately. Our technicians are equipped with IPhones and IPads that allow you to call, text, or email us anytime.

Wastewater has pathogens, bacteria, and viruses that may cause illness. Children and elderly are particularly susceptible to illness when exposed to untreated wastewater. It’s extremely important to correct any issues you have with your home’s septic system immediately before the wastewater is exposed to the air or reaches the groundwater.

All service technicians on our team are equipped with septic system locators and iPads with GPS locating to pinpoint the area of your septic system and record the issues and our findings; high-end digital video line cameras capable of diagnosing any issues with the drain pipes and tank and recording the findings on a jump or flash drive; and high-pressure water jetters to clear any obstructions in the drain lines.

When our team arrives at your home, the first thing we do is ask you what issues you are experiencing and for how long, the last time the septic system was pumped, and the history of the septic system. We then use our technologically advanced equipment to conduct a system assessment and search to find the cause(s) of the issues you are experiencing.

When we find the cause(s) of the issues, we fully explain it to you, document our assessment and findings and save all photos taken on the IPad that are electronically saved for future reference. If you (or a prospective buyer) were to contact us in the future, the home’s electronic file will contain photos of the home site, its current condition, the history of any issues, repairs, dates of pumping out the system, and recommendations regarding the maintenance of the septic system.

The vast majority of our emergency responses result in our technicians repairing the septic system, resolving all issues and restoring its proper function. It’s our primary goal to help you avoid incurring the time and expense of having your home’s septic system deemed “failed” by State officials.
